Roslyn is a Navy veteran who lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, this is her second time undergoing brain surgery to remove the deadly disease. The couple appeared on the Ellen Show to share their story and received the surprise of a lifetime
After the video of Raymond singing to his wife went viral, he received a call that stopped him in his track. On the other end of the phone was the Ellen Show, he called his wife to tell her the good news and she literally dropped her phone in disbelief.YouTube Screenshot Source: YouTube Screenshot
Only a month after her surgery, Roslyn and Raymond were sitting on the Ellen show sharing their strength and inspiring millions. When explaining why he made the video, Raymond said that its sole purpose was just to make his wife smile.

“Honestly Ellen, it wasn’t even that. I wanted just to make her smile, I literally just wanted to see my wife smile. She was in the waiting room surgery for a lot longer than she was supposed to be. So I was nervous downstairs, I’m pacing, I said ‘I want to make a video for my wife, that’s going to make her smile after having her head cut open.'” Raymond told Ellen.
Roslyn see’s cancer as a blessing

“I feel personally, that God gives battles to certain people, just to let other people know that it’s going to be okay,” Roslyn said on The Ellen Show.

Ellen teamed up with Honey Nut Cheerios to give the couple a huge surprise
At the end of The Ellen Show, she announced that Honey Nut Cheerios had a special gift in honor of their ‘Do Good, Feel Good’ initiative.
