Army Of Girls Catch Free-Falling Dancer - Then They Take Over Dance Floor With Powerful Moves To 'Iron' By Woodkid
  • Your typical dance routine will probably consist of the following: striking costumes, catchy music, great formation, and dance steps carried out with impressive synchronicity. The last thing you would expect to see is a dancer climbing casually on top of what looks like a pile of dancers on the floor.

This is the introduction to a captivating dance routine by the Moving Souls.

Recorded in a brightly-lit dance studio decorated with wooden floors and white walls, the dance group put on a show that earned over 800K views on YouTube.

The intriguing attempt of the dancer to climb all over the other dancers was a great start to a jaw-dropping routine. After she reaches the “top” and manages to balance on the shoulders of a male dancer, she raises her arms to signal the next step: the fall. She let herself fall backward as the dancers behind prepared to catch her. The minute she landed on their arms and slowly lowered herself to the floor, the graceful wave began.

With backs bending, arms swaying, and legs moving, the team launched into what looked like a mix of gymnastics and ballet. Some of the girls would slowly tumble, others would slide across the floor, and some seemingly did splits and slow leg raises.

After arranging themselves in a horizontal line, the dancers continued moving gracefully across the room, like reeds moving in the wind. Imagine the seamless combination of stretches, splits, jazz, and ballet-inspired steps done in slow, graceful succession, and the charisma of a dance team clad in all black.

It was more than a simple routine recorded in a studio. It was a visually pleasing performance that ended as creatively as it began.
