    At age five, Jessica Sutton has a strong potential to reach professional ballerina status. The contemporary dance moves in her routine perfectly showed off her flexibility, poise, rhythm, and grace.

    Showing no signs of hesitation or nervousness, she danced like a pro to a Mariah Carey classic, “ Hero .” She kept her toes pointed with each step, and her arms and legs stretched out elegantly. The song complemented her dancing perfectly, and it seemed the talented performer also made the song more meaningful than it already was. Despite the slow tempo, the song came alive through each graceful move. She glided, walked, and jumped across the stage delicately.

    Choreographed by Avianna Sanchez, the dance number was done so impressively by a talented little girl who confidently leapt and bound across the stage without missing a beat. Each slow turn and gradual leg raise showed just how much work she put into mastering the routine.

    From a perfectly arched back to a flawless turnout, Jessica kept in time with the music beautifully.
